diary may0611

After 2 years, i'm now here in abu dhabi working as a sales executive (aka saleslady) in a hypermarket. It was a dream come true to have gone this for an ordinary girl like me who never had a sense of direction in her life and has failed in many part and aspects in her life. This, really an exciting and new chapter in an ausell's life.

We arrived in Qatar Airways on Feb 7 2011 about 1pm, and had our connecting flight at 4pm. After 1 hour, we arrived at Abu Dhabi. I was actually dazed and not in my old self at that time. It still doesn't sink into my mind that i'll be living in this country for 2 years. For a month, i was sad and not being friendly with others. It was like everyday i wanted to go home. There are times that i cried at night and i can't sleep. It was like hell, i don't have enough money and i can't eat well. My mom and dad was calling me almost everyday and that made me a little bit stronger. It was exactly one one month, i had my first salary and my mom sent meand bought a Dell netbook.

After 3 months, i'm still here and enjoying every bit of the experience. Though, there are rough times, it's ok. It made me a better stronger person each and everyday. I gained friends and i have continuous communication with my family. I'm contented and very happy that a part of my dreams is coming true. I really thank God for giving me this kind of opportunity in life.

05:23 am

First time in my life that I had this sense of direction. I now know what I want in life. I plan the things that I needed to do. I think of how I will earn money. And I disregard the thought of having a boyfriend. It’s a first time, and it feels good. Though I don’t sleep thinking ahead the things that needs to be done, it’s ok. Though my skin starts to look bad and pimps started to explode, it’s ok. First time in my life that I felt responsibility. And it feels so good. I’ve got a bunch of school projects and exams, I just applied for a job in a fast food, I’m creating this blog hopefully will earn a little money from it, I’m interested in selling through online some health and beauty products. I feel that there’s a lot to do. And it gives me a certain excitement and challenge. And I see hope that tomorrow everything will be ok and will turn out a success. Hopefully, in God’s will, it will!

07:11 am
My gulay! Am I the only person who doesn’t know na it’s holidau today?! I didn’t sleep working on some things and I’m planning pa naman to go to school early only to found out that walang pasok today. I ate my breakfast, drink my coffee na, I already taken a bath and ready to wear my unifrorm na sana. Good thing my mom told me, kasi kung hindi, muka akong tanga. Well, at first I asked mom if sigurado sya, coz last time she’d told me na bulacan day daw which is hindi naman pala kaya absent tuloy ako. Kaya I opened my room’s window, to wait kung may dadaang nakauniform. My gulay na naman, the first thing na nakita ko when I fold the curtains.. An old man peeing! I was shocked and disgusted that I hurridly pulled back the curtain. Hoo, what an ‘eew thing’ to start my day. After a moment, I was relieved seeing that the old man disappeared na. Waiting for someone to passed by wearing a school uniform, I saw one girl with her pajamas and another one with shorts naman. Anyways, that won’t do, no reply from my classmates. So, I went downstairs and get my older bro’s phone to google if it is really holiday today. Unluckily, I can’t get connected, maybe network problems or something. So, yeah, why don’t I just open the tv? The first thing the screen pops out is a horoscope about Scorpio (I’m a scorpio..). It fortells about business, I guess, about signing a contract, to be careful to read the terms and conditions before deciding to sign it. Hmm, does it tell me to be careful in joining the network company or the blogsite where I can earn money daw? I wonder.. I turned off the tv and went to my room na lang and eto ako now typing. Although it’s holiday at wala pa kong tulog, aalis pa rin ako to publish my blogs. Yey! Happy morning everyone!

Networking Company

Networking company or what they call MLM (Multi-Level Market) is getting popular nowadays. They claim that they are different from the famous Pyramid scams. They offer a variety of health and beauty products which claims to be very effective and even shows in their seminars some unbelievable product demos. So, what’s with the hype? Earning a lot of money in a short period of time. Interesting? Yeah. The method is actually very simple. You offer products to clients and make those clients join you in the company, and that client will be doing the same with her friends. You earn money in the products that you sell, you earn money from the clients that you recruited in the company (they are now your downline), you earn money from the products that your downlines sell, you earn money from the clients that your downlines recruited in the company, and so on. Gets? It means that even you’re at home, watching wowowee or sleeping, you’re actually earning money! That’s easy, right? But hard to believe.
I’ve been involve in this about 2 weeks ago, when our very friendy ‘kapitbahay’ invites us into a seminar along Ortigas. It lasted for about 3 hours and so, on our way home, we were actually very interested and eager to join. On the bus, a friend texted me, asking me to join a networking company also. I actually guessed the name of their company ( a classmate offered me some products of that company a tear ago), but I’ve got no interest at all since my mind is in the seminar that we just had. When we’ve got home, another friend called, and we went a little chat, I then told him about the company that me and my mom were planning to join. Surprisingly, he just got home too from a networking company, also in Ortigas, where he was a 2-months old member. And of course, he’s asking me to join them din. My mind went crazy that night, that I didn’t slept well. After 2 weeks…
Later this evening, I was surprised when my friend who’s asking me to join 2 weeks ago, went to our house with a bunch of other whom I didn’t know. They talked to my mom, explained the products, do some demos, and let us watched a cd. The cd shows people wit their checks, happily announcing how much money they’ve earn in just a span of 1 week. They earned from 10k to 600k in just 1 week! So amazing, yet so unbelievable. I began asking myself, if this is true why there are a lot of people still going abroad with the same amount of salary but with less hardwork? If this is true, it should be the talk of the town, right? It should be so popular, that it can be reported on tv, showing the changing lives of ordinary people. And if their products are so effective, why is that I’ve never heard of those before? Like the majority, I’m wondering if it’s really true. But then, I’ve thought, I will never know if I’ll never try.

Bee Movie

While switching channels on the cable, i came across Star Movies showing an animation movie with bees. At first, it just looked cute. I’ve thought why Disney (Not sure if it’s Disney, but it’s the first thing that came to my mind) is not making anymore love stories and fairy tales nowadays like my favorite The Little Mermaid and The Swan Princess. Instead they focus more on doing animations about different kind of animals which for me is not appealing (though I know, it was done specifically for kids). Examples are: The little chicken, happy feet, ice age, Finding nemo, Madagascar, a shark’s tale and many more. Though I find all of them cute, and some of them with nice lessons to it but it seem this story about bees is a bit different and with deeper meaning. In short, I got interested to it and watch it though it’s already pass 12 midnight.
The movie is about a bee named Berry who’ve just graduated from a school of bees (whatever they call it..). Together with his friend, they went to ‘Honex’, a honey factory, where they’ll get a job. A lady bee explained everything that’s been happening inside the factory. And they have to choose one job that they want to do for the rest of their life. Everyone except Berry is happy about it. He is questioning why it has to be like that. And it started Berry to have a vision to make a difference.

Believe me you’ll laugh, smile and be amazed while watching this movie. It’s rare for me to be smiling until the “THE END”. I have no idea when did this movie came out but for those who missed this movie, you better watch it. It’s a simple light-hearted animation movie that will be beyond your expectations. It’s an inspiration to those who wants o make a difference. A fiction with a lesson! Very nice..
